- Account data: your email address, and the email provided by third-party login services if you sign in with one.
- Content you submit: the EPUB files you upload, extracted text, the target language you choose, and related request data needed to provide translation.
- Billing data: subscription, credit pack, and payment status, plus customer and transaction identifiers from our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
- Technical and usage data: basic technical logs needed for sessions, debugging, security, and product improvement; de-identified product usage events when analytics is enabled.
2. How we use it
We use this data to:
- Provide EPUB translation.
- Create and maintain accounts, credits, subscriptions, and payment records.
- Send sign-in codes, service notices, and support replies.
- Keep the service secure, fix problems, and improve the product.
3. Processing and third-party services
We may use cloud, AI processing, payment, email, login, and analytics providers to run Epub Translator. They process data only as needed to provide the service, under their own privacy policies.
We do not sell your personal data or your uploaded content.
4. Storage of books and text
Processed EPUB files, extracted text, and related request data may be kept in cloud storage or system logs to provide the service, maintain security, fix problems, and improve the product. We do not commit to a fixed retention period. Do not upload confidential or sensitive content you do not have the right to process. To delete account-related data, contact us as described in section 7; some data may be removed only after normal retention for backups, billing, or legal obligations.
5. Cookies and analytics
We use necessary cookies or similar technology to keep you logged in and for basic service functions. When product analytics is enabled, we may use analytics tools to understand feature usage and improve Epub Translator. You can manage cookies in your browser, but disabling necessary cookies may break features.
